Our Nordic socks from the Classic Collection are made with a special cotton blend that ensures every pair is as soft and flexible as it can be. Versatile and stretchy, they are made to follow the natural curvature of your feet and provide you with the utmost of comfort and protection in any situation. Whereas our cotton socks are the ideal companion to a quiet evening with loved ones, they also transition beautifully into the great outdoors thanks to their durability and moisture-wicking capabilities.
Thanks to the premium cotton fabric used in the production of our Classic Collection, our socks remain fluid while at the same time being entirely latex-free.
Made with the highest quality cotton, our Nordic socks are soft and breathable but don’t sacrifice on durability.
The socks sets in our Classic Collection are the perfect alternative for anyone who cannot wear wool products, either due to a fabric allergy or a vegan lifestyle free of animal-based products.
Our wool is gathered from Merino sheep in Turkey. The wool shearing process is done by farmers without using any machines, so there is no physical harm to the sheep.
Breathable fabric - Nordic socks allow your feet to breathe, preventing any unpleasant odors that might occur during the day.
Suitable for active wearers - Our Merino sheep wool absorbs up to 35% of its weight in moisture, keeping your feet dry and warm on any occasion.
Stretchy and durable - Our socks follow the natural curvature of your foot and won’t deteriorate after a few washes, but rather stand the test of time.
Mulesing is a controversial practice in the wool industry that involves the removal of folds of skin from the tail area of a sheep to prevent fly strike, a parasitic infection.
This procedure is usually done without anesthesia and has raised ethical concerns about animal welfare.
The Merino wool used in making Nordic socks has always been and will always be mulesing-free.
Lanolin is a naturally occurring wax that coats the wool of sheep, helping it become waterproof and withstand the harsh environment. It is comparable to the sebum that our bodies produce on our skin. This lanolin also has a particular signature smell – that is why, if you ever happened to try on a wool sweater, it probably smelled a bit like sheep to you.
We remove lanolin and other impurities from our Merino wool to enhance its dyeability. This process also eliminates the "sheepy" odor, ensuring that our socks are not only colorful but also enjoyable to wear.
